Back on Track

Back on Track is a collaborative education transition pilot program for young people who are off track to high school graduation or disconnected from education.

We meet young people where they are, providing both academic and nonacademic support to succeed. Young people will gain access to life skills activities, enriched academic preparation, employment support, and an eight-week intensive program that prepares them for entry into post-secondary institutions.

If you are a community-based organization, agency, or school and want to learn how to partner with us, contact Claire Canfield at 505-217-0220 ext. 1013 or claire.canfield@nmcan.org.

If you are a young person or know someone who may be interested in participating, contact us at 505-217-0220, email info@nmcan.org or fill out the form below.

Key partners include New Day Youth & Family Services and Bernalillo County’s Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative. Back on Track is based on a model by Jobs for the Future and supported by Andrus Family Fund, Nusenda Foundation, and United Way of Central New Mexico.
